Hello so after some times in my files .

I got alot of .crypt files which seems like corrupt files

Idk how they come but can some one tell me how i can stop them because they always appears out of nowhere

They are WhatsApp chat files. They contain either an archive of your WhatsApp messages or a backup of your WhatsApp settings. You can prevent the creation of them, open WhatsApp, and tap 3 dots top rh corner. Tap Settings. Tap Chats. Tap Chat backup. Tap Frequency. Toggle on Never.

I want to backup chat lets say i want to change phone i want old chat as well
But i dont want these files in my phone
Because it looks like some virus files lol

Then leave them alone then. They are perfectly harmless.
