Charging port

Hi all , does anyone have any issues with there charging port , I've cleaned mine but the lead doesn't feel very snug in it and move the cable a bit and it stops charging, I've tried another cable and still the same ......

USB-C will always have a little wiggle room—it's a good thing, meaning it won't snap with little pressure

Does it charge normally? If so, don't stress.

Thanks for your reply, it's definitely not right because my wife has an S23 and I have a tab s8+ and putting the cable in feels totally different, bit like it's located in the port , on my S24 it feels not as secure , it charges yes , but slight movement and it stops

Do you have a case on your S24? Some cases prevent/reduce connectivity to some USB cables. I've had some pretty bad designed cases in the past which caused issue with certain cables and connectivity.

I see, sorry to hear that. If this is the case, it sounds like your port may have suffered a bit of damage. It's rare, but it can still happen, even today with USB C ports.

Ah see yes- my comment becomes redundant the second your device stops charging. I would reach out to samsung support for a repair before it gets worse
