Charging port

Hi all had my phone for three weeks now. After the first week my official charging cables do not charge the phone. I now have to use after market cable. Even then it is a hit and a miss if it stays connected. Has anyone else had this issue? Cheers Andy

It doesn't charge how? Describe. Any error or other messages? Samsung charger?

Hi. No messages. It just won't charge with the official cable. It does not start to charge. I have tried a few official cables and will not connect to charge. But some after market charges will connect. It sometimes does not stay connected I have to take it out and back in again. Hope this helps. Cheers Andy

Have you done a diagnostic in the members app, see if any faults come up with the charging port?

If you had the phone for 3 weeks why haven't you contacted support? Or asked replacement after first week?

Try @andy29b  Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines with the downward facing arrow, to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > Scroll down, and tap on 'USBSettings' > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device.

I would do it as fast as possible, now that you waited it will probably be repair only whilst it could have been a replacement
