When I charge my phone I noticed the charger was hot when I unplugged it from the socket. I noticed the powerbank overheats as well. Both Samsung original. The phone feels warm too when I am charging it, but I felt it was more warm when I was charging it from the powerbank.

This can happen with powerbanks @Star_girl however they shouldn't get too hot that it can't be handled.

I use an Anker Powerbank that also warms up a little.

I only charge my phone's via Samsung Wireless Chargers at home or work that have inbuilt fans and I use a minimal case too that does not stop any heat dissipation.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Thank you BandOfBrothers. I understand but my power bank was not doing thus with my N20U.

You're very welcome @Star_girl

Maybe it's possible that your powerbank worked better with the previous phone when providing charge.

Or possibly the previous phone didn't draw charge like the new phone.

There's lots of variables.

Yes idk, I only flagged it up that maybe Samsung is able to do something so the phone doesn't break in time, because I never had something like this before this phone.

It takes power way quickly than older phones like N20U
