catastrophic banding in night sky with s24 ultra

hello, i wanna send this message to the camera moderator guy ... the night sky after the update is messed up!  unacceptable at all with this price range.

all auto  just point and shoot...

can you please explain this ... why can't it be black as it is .. and what is this banding!

i turned off the adaptive color mode , and the banding is almost gone !!

i can keep on adding ...  all night sky shots suffers from banding, and am not newbie with photography .. i consider myself a bit of expert thu.

OK... but who takes photos in the night sky with a street lamp prominently near the middle of the shot?

it wasn't triggered,, i never like bright photos so i don't use it at all , actually i tune down the exposure to -0.5 ,, this wasn't there before the update thu !

The camera needs a few improvements yet.

Can you take another picture of that location with the black sky?

I appreciate the differences in colour, but both scenes are not equivalent.

You will see the banding on all grey backgrounds.

I can see it I youtube videos where youtubers have grey background etc.

Not sure what's going on . It seems more pronounced on the s24 series.

You could dry turning hdr stuff off and see if it helps.
