I've never had a problem connecting my phone to my car, until now. I bought this 24 ultra last year and there was always something wrong with it. A few weeks ago, I put it on charge at 2am. At 8am, I picked the phone up, the screen was black and wouldn't switch on. A new motherboard was put in it. I still have the same problem, it won't connect to my car, even though it's now pairing, where it wasn't before. How do I get it to work please?

Did some looking online-

Turn off both your phone and your car's infotainment system completely. Wait a few moments, then turn them back on. This simple step often resolves temporary glitches

If you're using a USB cable to connect, make sure it's a high-quality, data-transfer cable, not just a charging cable. Try a different USB cable to rule out a faulty cable. Ensure the cable is securely plugged into both your phone and your car's USB port

Even if you are using a USB cable, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, as it's often used for the initial handshake in the connection process

Android Auto App: Update the app: Make sure the Android Auto app on your phone is updated to the latest version. You can check for updates in the Google Play Store. Clear cache and data: Go to your phone's Settings > Apps > Android Auto > Storage. Tap "Clear Cache" and then "Clear Data". You may need to set up Android Auto again after this, but it can resolve corrupted data issues.

Factory Reset (Infotainment System): As a last resort for the car system, you could consider a factory reset of your car's infotainment system. Be extremely cautious with this, as it will erase all your saved settings and preferences in the car's system. Consult your car's manual on how to perform a factory reset and only do this if you are comfortable and understand the implications.

Contact Samsung Support: Since you've had ongoing issues with your phone and recently had a motherboard replacement, it's worth contacting Samsung Support directly. Explain the connection problem and the repair history. They may have specific advice for your device or be able to identify if there's still a hardware or software issue related to the repair.

USB Debugging: Sometimes, enabling USB Debugging can help. Go to Settings > About phone > Software information. Tap "Build number" repeatedly (usually 7 times) until "Developer mode has been turned on" appears. Then go back to Settings, and you should see "Developer options" at the bottom. Enter "Developer options" and toggle "USB debugging" to the "On" position. Remember to turn this off after troubleshooting if you are concerned about security

*Be cautious when using developer mode. Note that this is for developers, so do your research and understand what you are doing.
