Call recording

Hi all, I'm expecting an important call from a neurological surgeon, and would like to record the conversation as I'll be asking lots of questions. 

Does anyone know how I set up call recording,please?

1. Open the Phone app: Launch the Phone app on your Samsung Galaxy device.

2. Initiate a call: Start a phone call as usual.

3. Access the call recording icon: During the call, you'll see a call recording icon

4. Start the recording: Tap the call recording icon to begin recording.

5. Call Transcript Assistant: The feature will automatically start a call transcript.

How does this work when the OP clearly states that they are "expecting a call from..."

What do you mean?

I mean start a phone call with another person to test to make sure they understand how to record the call when its time.

Unless im misunderstanding your question?/ how call recordings work- can you not record if they phoned you? Steps 3 and beyond apply if you're phoned no?

I posted an example of this working and transcribe, options, works both ways, in or outgoing once call has started, very cool, will alert both parties it is recording so make sure they are OK with it.

I mean your comment is about the op making a call.

The OP clearly states they are expecting a call so your answer won't help

Ah, right. I see. Are the steps any different when receiving a call?

In terms of clicking the button I inserted? My goal was for them to understand how it works by testing it and then putting it into action once they receive a call and know simply to press the record button/know it works.

Unless it would be easier to exclude the other steps and simply mention the record button? I appreciate the feedback—it helps me better understand what is easier while giving suggestions.
