This is really starting to bug me with my Samsung calendar installed on my s series phone and tablet. I have it linked to my email and calendar that is provided via office 365.

I quite often add entries on my calendar to remind me of upcoming events, but when. They are entered on my calendar it asks if I am attending this meeting or if I try and delete the entry it asks if I want to notify the organiser that I am not attending which is as dumb as anything as I am the organiser!

Looking at this more closely, the app seems to have separated an entry called 'me' from the name of my account and I have no idea why it is doing this when I am creating these on my Samsung device.

If the entry is made on my calendar using Outlook on my pc, it is exactly the same, so this isn't how the entries are being made on my Samsung device, it is more about how the calendar app interprets them as it seems to have a 'host' for the meeting which is my account name and an invite of 'me' even though these are the same people.

Anyone know how to fix this little annoyance as 2 other calendar apps I've tried don't display this behaviour and work as expected

Hi.

I am just curious as to why you are using the samsung calendar instead of just using the MS One ?

Im sure that would solve a lot of headache for you given you are using O365 anyways.
