Tried to take a group photo today using the front camera and it blurred out people's faces. How can I stop this?

Did the camera just blur out everyone's face's and leave everything else fine @Emzi

Can you upload the example please.

In the interim clear the camera's cache via Settings > Apps >  Camera > Storage > Clear Cache.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Were you using portrait mode or normal photo mode?

Also the camera lenses can easily be smudged.

It's in landscape.

It's not a smudged lens, it's an effect where the background has been blurred which includes my friend's faces

Cache cleared and still happening. It's a new phone so wasn't much to clear!

It blurred out everything in the background. Two faces in the foreground are fine.

I can't upload the picture as I don't have permission from the people in the photo to share it.

Maybe you used portrait mode. Try either the default photo mode.
