Bluetooth Connection Issues After One UI 8.0 Update

Is anyone else experiencing Bluetooth issues after the latest one ui 8 update? I have a car alarm that connects to my phone and it's been fine until yesterday when I did the update. Now the phone won't stay connected to the alarm, it connects for around 7 or 8 seconds then drops off. Extremely annoying and causing me quite a few issues

Just wondering which option are using in the Members app? Send feedback or are you logging a formal support call?

I had the same problem with my S25U. But I got a software update last night and it's fixed the Bluetooth issues :smiling-face:

BTW, not sure if others have noticed this, but in my case connecting to my car entertainment system, the failure to connect is only on the "Audio" option.. it seems to connect fine to "Calls" and I can see the bluetooth icon on the car display, but it will not connect to Audio unless I do it manually.. so it seems to be something specific to the software.. even manually connecting works sometimes, works sometimes for a few minutes and other times takes two or three tries to work..

Having the same issue on my Z fold 6. Once I updated to UI 8, any bluetooth device started having connection issues. Hoping for a new batch to release and fix it

I've heard back from Samsung on my second message to them. I assume by their response they are not going to fix this problem we are all having. Here is the response I received from Samsung:

Thank you for using Samsung Members App.
I understand that issues may arise after a phone update, but it is necessary to update the phone to the most certified and latest version through updates and also the cause of this issue is not due to the phone itself but is estimated to be caused by the low version of the vehicle's Bluetooth chipset. Please check with the vehicle manufacturer site to see if an update to the vehicle's firmware is possible.
We appreciate your business.

I am not going to have my car dealer update my car audio blue tooth. The way I see it, this function worked over the past several updates and after this update, now it does not work. It's Samsung's problem, not mine! They broke something that was working perfectly. They broke the phone that I bought from them that was working perfectly and I hold them responsible. Although I know updates can break some functions, I could accept it if the manufacture (Samsung) took the responsibility to admit their mistake and say they will fix it in the next update. I would understand that, but to push the problem back on the customer is not acceptable. If they do not fix this problem you can bet when I buy a new phone, it will not be a Samsung!

Seeing as I'm having the same issue and I use samsung earbuds and watch. They are full of *****. It's definitely something they messed up

If this is true and there is no reason for you to lie.. it's ***** disgusting that they even would suggest such a thing. They should just ***** admit to pushing an update with bugs, say sorry and work on goddamn fixing it as soon as possible. I swear.. if this doesn't get fixed soon or if I receive a similar message from Samsung, this is the last product of theirs I'll ever own.

Thank you for posting! I have a mazda 3 and am experiencing the exact same issues! Phone will no longer auto connect to the media Bluetooth profile (the call profile seems to connect everytime). So annoying.

I've tried submitting reports 4 or 5 times and they keep saying it doesn't have all the info they need and just tell me to try again. Their support is absolutely useless.
