Is anyone else experiencing Bluetooth issues after the latest one ui 8 update? I have a car alarm that connects to my phone and it's been fine until yesterday when I did the update. Now the phone won't stay connected to the alarm, it connects for around 7 or 8 seconds then drops off. Extremely annoying and causing me quite a few issues

This only worked the first time after pairing and has not worked since for me. The workarounds that are a bandaid and no noise from Samsung after somwthing that is clearly their fault is quite frustrating.

I do the same same thing, but I have to do it every time I get it the car. The bluetooth does connect automatically to the car audio system.

Has anyone heard from Samsung on this issue? It seems like crickets from Samsung. Do they monitor this/these forums? They could at least acknowledge the problem and tell us they're working on it, but all I  hear are crickets.

I contacted support on this, my phone is basically unusable with bluetooth devices. I was told I could mail my phone to them and get it back in a week or two. Not very useful.

This is so unprofessional from Samsung! They knew about this and still rolled the update. Wtf? Since it was working why break it?

Like now I need to use another phone to play music in my car? Seriously?

EDIT: I just found a workaround.

Enable developer mode and on Bluetooth SAP connection activate "turn on SAP by force".

And then it allows me to select either phone or audio profile on the Bluetooth device.

I hope it helps!

This is driving me insane - my hearing aids won't work with the app on my S25 Ultra, the car's entertainment system won't connect and none of the speakers in the house work so I can't have music in the house. I have tried all the solutions I have seen on here, un-pairing and re-pairing, re-setting Bluetooth, wiping the cache and nothing works. I pair to something, it connects for a few seconds and then drops it. It's been like this for two weeks now. If they tell me to post it to them or take it to a service centre then I'm going to buy an iPhone and sell this piece of junk.

I sent my issue to Samsung along with the phone status log, since apparently they do not monitor these forums. Before I sent my problem, I had a feeling they were going to blame my equipment, that's what they did. Here is the response I got from them:

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
As the log, the connections were rejected by the carkit as no resources available like below. It should be checked on the carkit why it's rejecting the connections. Please try to remove all the connection history of the carkit and then try to repair the phone again. // connection rejected by the carkit as no resources available 10-12 10:03:59.720 1002 4341 4839 W l2c_csm : system/stack/l2cap/l2c_csm.cc:821 l2c_csm_w4_l2cap_connect_rsp: L2CAP connection rejected, lcid=0x6d, reason=0x4 10-12 10:05:37.999 1002 4341 4839 W l2c_csm : system/stack/l2cap/l2c_csm.cc:821 l2c_csm_w4_l2cap_connect_rsp: L2CAP connection rejected, lcid=0x75, reason=0x4

We appreciate your business.

Well...I did what they said, again, and it didn't fix the problem...surprise, surprise. So I just sent them another message that what they ask me to do did not fix my problem. I had to research what they meant by "carkit" and I still don't know what it is, but I did remove all the connection history from the car bluetooth and then re-paired the phone. I still have to turn the S24 Bluetooth audio off, then back on again for the audio to work. I will not auto connect. And I still have to do this everything time I start the car.
