Does the S24U have a bedside mode similar to the iPhone?

Hello there. S24U has modes and routines that iPhone can only dream of.

In the settings, look for something called "modes and routines", and you can set a mode for sleeping time.

Using routines, you can almost program the device to do whatever you need, of course within limits its not true programming. It's almost like the macros of Microsoft Office

I know samsung is superior to iphone (IMO), but I'm interested in the bedside mode where a clock is shown when the phone is on charge and placed in landscape.

Unfortunately Samsung removed the closest thing we've ever had to "bed side mode".
It was AOD rotation and would show the clock/battery/notifications in landscape mode, but this was removed in one ui 6.

You can try without landscape mode and choose when AOD is shown going to settings > display > always on display and choose from there and customise the way you want 1734558518713.jpg1734558518739.jpg

I use an app called "Night Clock" in conjunction with modes and routines. It works well for me

AOD rotation was not removed! It still works, you just need to know how to do it....

1. Open the Auto Rotate menu, by long pressing on the Auto Rotate icon in the quick settings menu.

2. Check that it's set to Auto Rotate the lock screen. This is the important bit!

3. Turn on the AOD to show always.

4. Rotate the phone while the lock screen is showing.

5. Let your phone do the rest !
The lock screen will Rotate to landscape mode.
Leave it a few seconds. The AOD screen will then show, in the same orientation that the lock screen was in. As long as the lock screen was in landscape mode... the AOD will now also be in landscape mode.

Thanks for that! I thought there was a way to do it again as I did this before one ui 6.1 but then it stopped working, I suppose I'll try it again!
