Hi, The advice posted below seemed to help reduce the battery drain.
I also changed some display settings which helped even more.
1- Change the Motion Smoothness setting in Display to Standard.
2- Use dark mode in main settings - you can also leave individual apps in light mode if you prefer. Usually in the settings for the individual app. 3 small dots top right.
3- If your screen mode is set to vivid, reduce the vividness to 50%.
4- Go through individual apps and turn off notifications from those you don't need notifications from. Apps background battery usage.

This has worked for me meantime.

I've noticed that the battery is been drained so fast that even during the night, without any use it's losing 35/40 percent. It's impossible to consider a learning pattern. Samsung must officially pronounce

Have you checked in the battery settings which apps and processes eat up most percentage?

Also, try if disabling the sensors during the night will improve the battery endurance.

I suggest to also turn off the end panel from the Display settings, because the compass may contribute to the faster battery draining.

Another thing to turn off is the Galaxy AI functionality. Check if this will improve the battery life, too.

Yes I've checked the apps, nothing weird.

It's nonsense that I have to do something that I never had to do before the update. Of course that's something with the new UI7.0 that causing the battery drain and must be correct. If they do an update that makes me turn on and turn off features the update failed, they need to correct it ASAP. I use the cellphone to work, I'm having to charge it twice a day, sometimes 3x a day, before the battery used to be enough for almost 2 days. Crazy!

Since the one ui 7 update my phones battery drains fully in about 4 hours of light daily use whereas before I could go 2 days without charging it.

The battery also gets really hot from any usage even just browsing websites.

I've been a samsung user for years and if this doesn't get fixed fast I'll be getting my money back and never returning.

Drain like that isn't supposed to happen. Has the update just happened or has it been a few days? Often phones need a few days to finish everything.

Try clearing the cache partition

So it was very recent, got it. You could also try good guardians, galaxy app booster.

To save the technical explanation, after a big update your phone optimises apps when you don't use your phone. That app forces it to happen all at once, meaning it won't slowly do it when the screen is off, draining power
