Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

Severe battery drain issue after I have updated to One UI 7 in my S24Ultra. Is samsung aware of this and would they provide any fix for it?

It is recommended exactly because it works and it is an effective troubleshooting method. If it doesn't works it points to different and deeper issues and that's when we contact Samsung support and let them deal with it. That's what you should do to

If you're having instances where you're unable to use the phone due to it overheating, then it's certainly something Samsung can look at. I'd suggest that you drop us a message at @Sam_UK.

nope they are on a beta ui 8 for the z7 fold and flip and s 25 ultra thats all they are focused on money and greed I hope them devices go bad on ui 8 so they learn karma is a *****

Same here - I upgraded to One UI 7 and now

- the battery drains fast and the phone is warmer than it used to be under light use. 

- When I plug it into an utrafast charger that has always worked before this One UI update, the phone says it is fast charging but isn't. My phone will only only fast/ultra-fast charge when it is powered down.

I am facing the same exact issue. The phone battery drained out pretty fast after the update,  tried changing chargers, cables, reboots, nothing worked. The phone charging port is not working now with normal phone chargers (slow, fast, super fast) but somehow is getting charged from the laptop while connected. I noticed this as i was working on backing up the data to my laptop. Called up T-Mobile and nothing can be done, fortunately, still in warranty and will get a replacement. But now I worry, as soon as i get the replacement and boot it up, it is going to update to the new UI and i might be back to the same place. Is anyone else facing such issues and in case you have found any solution.

I have the same problem with my s24 ultra. Normally I had 50% battery left at the end of the day. Now after the update I have 20% the end of the day with the same usage. I hape that Samsung will fix this problem.

From 100% to 90% in just 45 mins. My mobile is on sleep mode..everything is checked and followed. Wipe partition..you name it.

I read battery will be okay after galaxy finishes optimisation...does it takes 2 weeks?

Yes, this is exactly the same for my S24+, samsung need a class action against them for this type of manipulative behaviour, my phone is dead after 15hours of barely any use. The only thing that's changed is the update. Sansung open your f'ing ears and change it back.

I have the same issues, my battery drains in 5-6hours. Before i could go more then 8-10hours..
