Battery draining faster after One UI 7 update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

There have been multiple threads on this already this weekend.

You need to give your device the 14 day battery optimisation period similar to that when you get a new device. It needs to learn your usage pattern based on the new OS

It's always advisable to wipe cache partition of the phone after major software updates like one ui 7, i do own s24 ultra and battery life is same as it was on one uo 6.1 and haven't noticed any difference at all, also as mentioned battery will go through new optimisation.

Yes. I'm using the vanilla S24, and I have noticed that my battery is draining faster than normal. Also, my phone seems to always have the location icon next to the battery, cell signal, Wifi, etc... It says system apps are requesting my location 24/7. Is there a way for that to go away? It didn't pop up until I updated to One UI 7.

my s 24 ultra battery got way better on ui 7 thats another good thing on that someone must have bad batterys or something had my s24u since early February 2024 got it 3 days after pre orders began but I got it from samsung factory unlocked I don't do network devices they carry too much bloatware from carrier apps built in them..

Well, I've experienced both the battery drain and the good battery on both the beta and stable.. I've even had my battery drained to 1% then remained at 1% for over 3 hours without going off.
However, it's might not be the same for others cause some devices are exclusive variants, Some are korean, indian e.t.c

All will eventually get fixed with patch updates.

My battery died after i install 7.0. when i was on beta version 7.0 batery was great , on lite mode -10%  baterry at 60/70min SoT .

Now i have -25%-30% at 60min SoT....

On my new S24 Ultra which at the time had oneUI 6.1,  i used to be able to use the phone for SEVEN Hours and still have 30% left which was phenomenal considering how i used it, now after oneUI 7... I need about 5 hours with the exact same ussage to land 22%... 

Does anyone know if its just the phone re-learning my ussage considering its a major UI update+Android 15, or is this an actuall issue with oneUI 7?

Because before the update my Battery performance was phenomenal.

Yep, bro. I charge my phone about 4 times a day now. If i use youtube the phone gets hot. Extremely bad update.

wow thats not good at all.. my s 24u is just ugly display that looks now like a iPhone 24 ultra and buggy and glitchy I hear they pulled ui 7 update completely due to a major security flaw gee great 7 betas samjunk hiring apples engineers lmao 🤣
