Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

OK i don't know if this works but i've cleared the actual S24 ultra's phone cache as i've been told this helps with the battery draining fast BUT you definitely need to connect your phone to another samsung device or a PC via a USB cable press volume up button then power button while still holding down the volume up button then release power button when the samsung logo appears keep pressing the volume up button the system Android recovery mode appears using the volume buttons go to wipe cache partition using the power button then click yes at the bottom of the menu it says cache wipe complete then press reboot system now and then the phone will restart and your done ✔️

Please look at my reply to this post about entering the S24 ultra into recovery mode as i've been told this helps with the battery draining faster since updating to one UI 7

Yes. I'm using the vanilla S24, and I have noticed that my battery is draining faster than normal. Also, my phone seems to always have the location icon next to the battery, cell signal, Wifi, etc... It says system apps are requesting my location 24/7. Is there a way for that to go away? It didn't pop up until I updated to One UI 7.

my s 24 ultra battery got way better on ui 7 thats another good thing on that someone must have bad batterys or something had my s24u since early February 2024 got it 3 days after pre orders began but I got it from samsung factory unlocked I don't do network devices they carry too much bloatware from carrier apps built in them..

I factory reset my s24 ultra in the hopes it would help. It drained 10% battery with 29 minutes use and overnight it drained 35% battery when idle with no apps open in the background.

Same here. After latest update battery drain is singnificant. I have S24 ultra and on 6.1 it was normal. Now my battery is draining constanly and fast. First I thought it was connected to some app but it is definetely connected with new 7.0 update. Samsung fix this. After so much time waiting now its worst then before.

Well, I've experienced both the battery drain and the good battery on both the beta and stable.. I've even had my battery drained to 1% then remained at 1% for over 3 hours without going off.
However, it's might not be the same for others cause some devices are exclusive variants, Some are korean, indian e.t.c

All will eventually get fixed with patch updates.

glad i aint the only one having this problem ..sitting at 69% and only toke off an hour ago 100%..downgrade to 6.1..make a backup everything, and use smart switch app and factory reset will do the rest 👏

literally 💯 the update definitely needs more work done..battery draining more than ever..downgrade to 6.1 only option
