So I posted about my S24 Ultra's terrible battery life after buying it, thinking it just needed optimization time. But even after 21 days, it's still awful! 😫 Less than 3 hours of screen time uses 80% of the battery. I am not doing any heavy tasks or gaming, or even using the camera that much. Is this normal?! 🤔 #Samsung #GalaxyS24Ultra #BatteryLife #PhoneProblems #TechIssues

I need including the top battery bar and like your 5 apps from the battery bar.

Couple of things:

1. You are saying you set up phone as new and installed apps fresh from the stores?
( no app and settings restored from old phone?)

2. I would ideally looking for app permissions for apps ( mostly social media apps for background usage and all the time location access)

3. Also shitty mobile signal is another culprit.

4. High screen brightness can be a major factor.
I sometimes use manual brightness ( one for indoors and one outdoors) Auto sometimes may not be the best.

5. I forgot 🫩.
Will come to it later.

Also.

I'll leave this here for you. Have a look at it over a cup of tea ( it's a must - the cup of ️)

@adhi3 it wouldn't harm to let a Samsung Service Centre or Samsung Experience Store to have hands on.

A last resort could be to factory reset after backing up to start over again, but set up the phone manually i.e not via the back up.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Although they say that it is not good to completely discharge the battery, it happened to me a couple of times that the S24 ultra discharged overnight because I forgot to charge it. I was surprised that after charging the S 24 ultra was at 100% battery for two full hours, even after making calls

It's not recommend, to discharge battery fully but things happen and sometimes we all run into same problem. If you don't discharge it fully everyday then I'd says it's safe.
Again it's my opinion

Someone also recommended me to completely discharge the battery and charge to 100, but i don't know the authenticity of this.

I sometimes purposely discharge my battery to 0% .

Just did it yesterday.

The idea of doing it was it helps calibrate the battery.
( atleast that was the idea years ago)
Whether it holds true these days be my guest.
I like doing it once in a blue moon.

But that's just me 😊

That's odd I can get a full day's battery out of mine and I don't do anything that high demanding either. Have you done a diagnostics check on ur battery to see if theys anything wrong with it?1734894917719.jpg

From the tips from my last post, nothing has changed much from the battery side. Today I got around 3 hours of screen time on 90% battery. Now I've factory reset my phone & I'm only using a limited number of apps like WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Microsoft Teams, and Webex. I'll update on my battery life & see if the problem's resolved! 🤞📱 #BatteryLife #Android #PhoneProblems #TechTips #Troubleshooting
