Samsung Backup Service is not suitable for many purposes. Unike Iphone, it does not offer a user to select a restore point. Presently restore is only available for the latest backup only(previous day). Not good, as problems could still exist in the latest backup.
Either introduce weekly & monthly backups as well as daily.
And create restore points to offer selection of backup to restore.
Samsung does do that. But you need to backup your phone to your computer. Cloud backups only store the latest backup to save data, and it is free. If you backup your own device to your own PC, you can have as many backups as you want
