Backup code

Hi, I've just got the Galaxy S24+ after having the S22, my issue is that the Samsung recovery code that I have from the S22 won't work so I'm unable to backup data,etc on the S24... Is there a work around? Or is it (as I've read) a "forever code" if so why won't the OG code work? Thanks....

What happens when you try? Did you type it? It is a 28 characters long

It notifies me that the code is incorrect, and yes the 28 character code.....
