I just got the OneUI 7 update this morning on the S24 Ultra and am pretty satisfied mostly. The device is smoother, camera is nicer to use and feels better. I still can't fit the small Duolingo widget shape to the other widgets, but oh well, it's not that big of a deal. What is a biiiig issue is the locking animation. How can you mess something like this up?? The locking function is slow to start and when in does it is awful and buggy. It's a big deal on any device, let alone a flagship device. You can see in the video just how bad this is and I see it every time I lock the phone. Does anyone else have this problem or a solution to it? Interestingly the animation is normal (and pretty smooth I must say) when locking the device on the lock screen or when the "Show wallpaper" option is on for the AOD.

I have the same bug and to have a fluid animation I let it stay in always on the option to show the wallpaper, installed the goodlock, installed wonderland, chose the wallpaper(just apply the option on the left and leave the right one in blank), chose the blur effect and in the option to customize the speed placed in the "masking" option ON. Then just apply.

Thank you. It works. But, it looks kinda expensive in terms of battery life, imho. Hope they fix that, bc it obviously not a correct behaviour...

This is so weird but it worked. Very odd solution but thank you!

Despite many not agreeing with you, I feel you, I have the exact same issue, and it's annoying, makes the phone feel cheap, it's a bug and not a normal animation

I am experiencing the same issue with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. How can this be resolved?
