App lock

Greetings,

Does the Samsung S24 Ultra offer a feature where one can lock some apps? Similar to the iPhone's shortcut. I use a shortcut on some of my phone app, whenever someone attempts to open the app, it requires Face ID to utilize the app. I'm curious if Samsung possesses a similar option that could accomplish something similar. This is all about privacy and I do not wish for anyone to view or use my app without my consent. Kindly provide an answer.

The most critical issue is the lack of data backup. My phone upgrade resulted in the complete loss of data stored in the secure folder. I'm willing to sell the S25 Ultra if someone is interested in buying it. I wanna go back to the iPhone.

I suggest the old app of samsung named "s secure" need to be back for all samsung devices.

Please add a simple App Lock feature in One Ul that lets us lock apps like Gallery, WhatsApp, etc. with fingerprint/Face recognition or PIN. Secure Folder is useful but too complicated for normal users who just want quick protection. iPhone already has this and it makes things much easier. This feature would improve privacy and user experience for everyone.

For locking down a basic app I don't want to put it in a separate folder... For more sensitive things that I want access restricted in a separate environment like a secure folder then I would use the secure folder. Just placing a basic lock based on password or biometrics is not something very hard to do or even require crazy coding
