AOD personalisation no longer supported

Hey guys,  I was so sad to see that the AOD can not be personalised with a separate personal picture any more, I was using this on my old Note to have my late father's picture pop up so I can always have a little bit of him wherever I go,  I hope this can be fixed.. 😪

Hi! I was a bit bothered when I couldn't find the clock style in the settings too but here's the solution. They've put the option directly when you select "set as wallpaper" from a photo directly in the gallery, there's an option there to put the image to always on display. Hope this helps if you haven't discovered it yet!

That option is also missing. When you tap set as wallpaper, the only options are as home screen, lock screen, or both and call background. That's it

Try again but get to the photo you want by opening your camera. Clicking your most recent photo "bottom left" and scrolling until you reach the photo you would like to use. Then 3 dots, set as wallpaper, drop down pictured above should show up

I have lock star in my z-flip4 it worked brilliantly until the phone screen and ribbons were replaced i put phone into maintance mode to get it repaired as i have no pc to back phones stuff up to but when i got the flip back and switched off maintance mode even though i have a pic set in phone i dont get it when i tap screen from screen off or when the flips opened instead it just goes straight to home screen when opened or if a blank screen & tapped once i get the always on display but no background pic showing and it used to show my lock screen pic but no lock as dont use that option due to me having a brain tumour and forgetting things 

I dont want to factory reset it incase i loose everything  😭💔

Hi! Maybe it's a bit late and you've already found a solution to your problem, but I've noticed that if you go in Gallery, pick a photo, tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner and click on wallpaper, the always on display option appears and you can set said photo as your always on display widget. Hope this helps!
