Ai core update....

Heyo,

I got 21x updates saying:

ai core feature_1008

What is that?

Ai core is an android system app that handles advanced local ai processes.

Basically, if android wants to do I things, it asks ai core to do it. Usually it just looks like an app in the play store that updates.

As to why you see 21 updates with a strange message, something probably bugged. The app/system itself is safe and normal

I miss typed it was supposed  to be 2x not 21 lol sorry.

But why would these update when I dont use the ai features any more?

I stopped using it once I learnt that at the end of this year samsung would get more greedy and charge to use ai stuff.

A few reasons. Firstly, just because you don't enable a feature doesn't mean it'll won't get updates.

Second, your phone has 2 ai systems. Samsung ai and android ai. You might decide not to use samsung ai, but the built in android ai will do things to make your phone better. For example, in google messages ai is used to detect spam. That's using ai processing built into android. Power management is also ai powered in some way. Samsung has the flashy generative ai. Android uses ai for things you'd never even realise
