My brothers phone wont install youtube music. We have recently bought youtube premium with the music benefits and everyone in my household has it. My brother couldnt install the youtube music app when he tried today and after doing all the troubleshooting we tried it on my dad's phone by uninstalling it and trying to get it back. However its doing the same on his phone now. All it says on the playstore is installing app then instead of saying open it says install again. Does anyone have any ideas on what's happening. Also tried clearing the phones cache partition and all sorts nothing has worked 😥. Any help would be really appreciated

Try clearing the Play Store's cache and data, and if that doesn't work, consider clearing the cache for Google Play Services as well. Restarting your phone after these steps might also be necessary.

@Bradley3647: YouTube Music comes preinstalled on recent Galaxy devices/Android versions. While this doesn't necessarily explain the issues you're having with the Play Store, as the app should open from here, please try heading to Settings > Apps, or swipe up from your Home screen to access the Apps screen, and check to see if YouTube Music is available. You can also utilise the Search bar at the bottom of the Apps screen to manually search for the app. If it appears in the results, press and hold on the app icon > Locate app, and you will be taken to the app's current location.

If the above isn't applicable then please try heading to Settings > Security and privacy > Updates > Google Play system update, and check for any available updates from here.
