Work profile?

Does anyone know if the work profile option exists on the s23 ultra ? The company I work for, now require us to install comp portal to access our emails / teams, but with it being my personal phone I don't feel comfortable doing so. Is there any way round this / any alternative apps available that work in a similar way?

My company also requires users to install company portal and, worse, expect me to agree that they have the right to remotely wipe my device if there is a security breach.

I had installed intune company portal, and it allows you to create work profile on your phone. At least it did on my S20ultra

This is for a different MDM product but suggests it could be a challenge. Possibly something your IT admins need to pick up with the security solution provider. Personally, I can appreciate why you would be apprehensive about your employer installing MDM software on your £1000+ phone. Don't they offer the option of a work provided smartphone....though I can see you may not want the hassle of carrying two phones.

No lol, i work for a MSP. The companies to stingy to folk out for comp mobiles.

You are under no obligation to accept this.

Your personal mobile phone is just that, personal.

If your company require you to access email and other services away from the office, they are legally obliged to provide you with the equipment necessary.

Please tread very carefully and check what rights you are giving them, such as being able to factory data reset your device in the event of it going missing or a data breach without your permission.

I choose to use my company work profile, but prefer how Samsung allows it all on/off with one click.

Your company should advise how to install it.

For me I Hybrid work, sometimes I just take my ZFold4 to work as we have USB C monitors at hot desks, plug it in and Dex gives me everything I need without lugging my work laptop.

I even prefer to use my personal laptop, a Samsung Book2 Pro for work sometimes, though that's not a profile, just Microsoft O365.

Most work through apps like intune, your company IT should have the details, this sets it up.

This is driving me crazy!  All of a sudden I have a "Work" tab when I try to access my photos on my S23U and this is a personal phone! I've never even taken it to the office.  So now when I want to upload my photo to an app, it tells me my administrator has blocked this feature.  I never set up a work profile.  How do I remove it?
