Hello everyone,
Yesterday I installed the October 2024 security patch on my Samsung Galaxy S23. Since then I have had problems with calling over WiFi (VoWiFi). ☹️
Previously, the VoWiFi symbol appeared within a few seconds when I connected to a WiFi network. Now this takes at least 5 to 10 minutes. Very annoying. I live in a new-build house and when I get home I cannot be reached by phone during this period.
My partner has a Google Pixel phone with the same provider and experiences no problems. I have tested other WiFi networks and I experience the same problem with my device. Before the update everything worked fine.
I have reset the network settings on the device, wiped the cache partition and enabled/disabled VoWiFi. Unfortunately without result.
This update concerns:
Version One UI: 6.1
Android version: 14
Current version: S911BXXS6CXI4/ S911BOXM6CXI4 / S911BXXS6CXI4
Security patch level: October 1, 2024
More people with this problem?

Does it connect faster in different locations other than where you live ? Unlocked phone or bought from the network

Nope, it also takes a long time on different locations. I have an unlocked phone.
