Whatsapp from iphone

Has anyone had the problem with smart switch from moving whatsapp data from iphone to s23. I get to about 3% done and says I have no storage. I have 93gb spare and my whatsapp data is 15g maybe less. I've tried everything and same outcome each time.

Can you please elaborate as to what you have tried thus far so Members are not suggesting options you've already tried. 

How to move chats from an Android device to an iPhone.

Hello - so I am trying to move my chat data off my iphone 13 pro max to my new samsung s23. I am using the smart switch app and cable method, lightning to USBC. I've checked everything is updated and up to data on samsung and iphone also checked whatsapp chat is backed up and icloud. I get to the transferring part each time. Get a error message saying. Not enough storage space on this device (s23) even though I have 93gb free and the transferable data is 15g.

You can try using backing up via one drive.

Back up WhatsApp on the iPhone to iCloud, then restore the backup on the Samsung during setup. This method doesn't transfer media files.

Hi, unfortunately I didn't find a way and just gave up. Started fresh. Very annoying
