Samsung curve card will work when used on its own but not via my s23 ultra! Any ideas please

any errors or other messages when trying to add

If we are on about the samsung pay .
Curve card loads to phone all OK
But when I use it off my phone I get the message off the "card reader" please try a different card.
But if I use the curve card on its own on the same card reader it works fine.

As an update, I gave up on Curve and loaded my card to Google pay instead. Works fine.
