Voice recording during a telephone call was working on my S8 device.
With smartswitch app all recorded calls were correctly transferred to new S23 device.
However new calls generated on S23 device are not recorded on S23 .
What can be reason?
Callrecorder app on S8 is Samsung Voice Recorder version 21.1.06.11
Callrecorder app on S23 is Samsung Voice Recorder version 21.4.05.04

Are you in the UK ?
I believe due to UK laws that it is illegal to record calls with a smartphone. Some countries will allow it and others have laws against recording without the prior agreement of all parties in the phone call.
So I believe if you have bought a new device in the UK that it has probably been blocked to allow you to record during calls.
p.s. you call this above the 'Callrecorder app' . It is actually called 'Voice recorder' and is installed to use as a self dictation voice recorder.
So you are probably wondering 'what is the difference'...
You are allowed by law to record in a room an 'interview' or 'meeting' when all parties are within the same room and agree to being recorded... but as far as recording cellular calls the recipient may not know they are being recorded, and i believe if you research then there are UK laws against this feature.
Kind Regards

Thanks for your comments.
I bought the device S23 in Belgium where I live.
I'm not aware of such laws in Belgium and as explained the voice recorder was recording telephone conversations when I used my S8 smartphone.
Thus still wondering why it is not working anymore...............
Most probably Samsung voice recorder is not working any more to record phonecalls in all countries even when no such laws are in place
