Video audio sounds like I'm under water

Hi. Anyones video sound like they are under water when taking a video outside? Can't hear anyone speaking and VERY muffled. Reset the phone setting ect to no joy. Happended on a friend's device also but on and off. Not sure if there are any reports of this before. S23 standard device.

Can you try a hard reset


With the device powered up, Hold the Volume down button and Power button simultaneously for 10 seconds. The screen will go off. Continue to hold buttons until the device vibrates and the Samsung logo appears. Release buttons. Device will reboot. Once done, please check if the issue is resolved.

I had to have my original S23 Ultra replaced for this same infuriating issue @DuncAlexander. The device was new, and right from the start it's audio quality on recorded video was very poor at times. Like you said, it sounded like it was recorded under water in many situations. I am with EE, and got my device from them. They agreed that my complaint was valid and sent me a replacement device within 24 hours. This device had no such issues and Is still going strong some 18 months later.
