Is there any way to use a USB-A to USB-C cable to transfer data between your phone and computer anymore? It used to work, but one of the software updates disabled it. Depending on where I'm at, I don't always have a computer that has USB-C. It would be nice to still be able to use my phone in those instances.

I'm still using it. Works as before. Try different cable and/or computer

It might be the new auto blocker feature in security settings try having a look there to see of that's the problem. 😊

Using the same cable, if I switch to "Software update" it immediately mounts (but only a small update partition), so the cable should be fine. It's a Samsung USB-A to C cable and works for data transfer on other devices and for Android Auto on this one.

Auto Blocker was turned off. I tried enabling it and then turning it off again. Still no luck.

I think it's a Windows 10 issue from a recent update. I can get it to mount on a Windows 11 computer.
