Since I've had a few software updates on the phone my Google pay no longer works so now have to use samsung pay, wonder if that was done on purpose 😀

It's only if you're on a beta right now. Having it in the past doesn't affect it.

The beta ended months ago so as long as your updates are working, you shouldn't be on a beta update right now
