Spotify alarm doesn't work anymore

Hi everyone!

I'm having a bit of trouble with my alarm clock on the morning.. I've set it to a shuffle on a playlist from Spotify. It used to work like a charm and as it's a feature I didn't have on my previous phones from other brands, I was ecstatic about it! However, it's been a few days/weeks that it just doesn't work anymore. I went back to the settings of my alarm and the loading for the Spotify options is super long, but I get there eventually, when I don't give up. But when it rings, an error message scrolls on the top of the screen saying "an error occured, Spotify streaming impossible" (or something like that, I'm translating here, my phone isn't set in English)

Does anyone have an idea of what's going on?

Thanks for your help!!

Probably the Spotify app itself

I think there was an issue, indeed. I deleted the app, reinstalled it, redid the whole syncing of the account with the Samsung account and it seems to have solved the issue. Thank you for your help!

I personally only use the built in Samsung Clock / Alarm so can't confirm whether I'm experiencing the same issue @SnowyNavy

I only use Spotify for listening to music while I  commute.

I can suggest to clear / delete any current set up and then reset it back up.

If that does not help then perhaps send some feedback to Samsung via your Samsung Members App.

There maybe a forum of fellow Spotify users who may also be able to help 🤔

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Initially I installed Google clock but when I enabled battery saving mode it warned that the alarm might not work. I think it was too do with apps getting put to sleep, such as Spotify. I used the Samsung clock app and it's fine (don't use Spotify tho)
