Galaxy s23 Ultra cant update to Android 14 OUI6

Hi, I've just bought my phone and it cant update to OUI6/android 14 which is obviously really sad as i keep searching and people got it before 2024. its now the 10th for me and no update 😞 can anyone provide an insight? i have no clue what to do

Where did you purchase your device from? Samsung direct, network carrier or abroad please

Hi Piper, im pretty sure its a samsung direct as its unlocked. ive purchased the device second hand but it was never used which is why its on such old software. its on one UI 5.1 and android 13. had to update security and stuff as well. if you need any more information from me please ask!

Ok so we don't know the origin.

Assuming it is UK (check CSC code) then if the device hasn't been used it will have to connect to networks and in time it will get the nod to update.

No one on here will be able to confirm when however. It could be hours, it could be weeks.

Right I see, so it takes a while for samsung to pick it up on their radar and send the update?

Check settings - about phone - software information and under service provider software information it will give you your CSC codes which will confirm what region your phone was destined for.

Mine is from Samsung UK and was destined for Europe. Interestingly, the German language text to speech and voice recognition files were installed by default and can't be removed. Got OUI6 without issues though.

Also, some have had luck by using Samsung Smart Switch on their laptop or computer to download software updates.

Mine says EUX and I did a *#1234# and it said OXM. I have no idea where these are lol but that's what I got. I'm gonna give the samsung smart switch thing a try. Thanks for the suggestion my friend!

Did you have any Carrier apps durning setup at beginning? My current S23U bombarded me with Vodafone spam apps which could mean delay

I had nothing bro. Just Google and Samsung apps. It's not locked to any either so I think it's European
