Shall I move to OneUI 8?

Hello Good people,

I got OneUI 8 update available today in my S23 Ultra. 

Shall I upgrade to it?

My experience after moving to OneUI 7 was not so great when it comes to Battery Performance.

One ui 8 is one ui 7, just made better.

Visually it looks the same. All the changes are to system things and battery things. So it should hopefully be a straight improvement for you

whilst more of a refinement you should have a better experience with One UI 8.  With OS updates there can be a temporary impact on the Battery life as the alogorithm relearns you usual patterns.  It is advisable to clear the cache partition after the update as some temporary cache files become outmoded/corrupt.

Since the last 1UI update in August, I have had problems unlocking my phone and answering it. Samsung help and the phone shop could not solve and said have to wait for next update when bugs are ironed out. Nightmare.

It can help but not always the case, just to mention that ensure All Apps are up to date and it is also a good idea to run the Galaxy Apps Booster from the Good Guardians suite . Can also check Battery Guardian and Battery Tracker.

Word is it's full of bugs and until Samsung restarts the roll out again. It was pulled from the S22series and S24series due to some firmware issue which at the moment knowone knows why but it appears to be causing issues to some users. Full report on Sammobile.com site

One UI8 is visually almost identical to One UI7 but it has significant improvements under the bonnet so to speak.

if you want to buy a new phone you should do it and update,LoL i did it 2 weeks ago and now regret it
