Separate app sound didnt work with andriod auto

when I connected to Android Auto via wire to my car. separate app sound doesn't at all!!.,.... 
doesn't know why.. i cannot play whatsapp voice message and messenger voice msg with phone speaker while my music is played to car speaker..

everytime I listen to voice msg my music pause I have to manually play back.. very annoying.. tried everything nothing works...it was working fine before 6.0

yea I don't think SAS applys to android auto anymore unfortunately. Abit annoying whenever your the passenger of the vehicle and the next minute a voice message is playing through the car 😂

Hi and welcome to the EU and UK community forum. Are you using SAS only, or have you set it as a routine?

I haven't tried this for Android Auto. I have it set for SDeX if it is connected to use SAS for specific apps. Maybe try this. Hope it works. 🙏

im using SAS only i do not use DEX.. as im driving i do not wan my passenger to listen to my whatsapp ... its so akward.. doesnt it works when set Dex to seperate the audio? can anyone confirm this? 
samsung should update and fix this bug,.... its been so long this bug not even get fix..

It works for DEX. Try this setup. It is possible that the Android Auto app needs to be updated. Check if you have the latest version.

i already have this setup 100% same like yours for years via routine... only recently it didnt work.. and yes.. its on latest version. can someone from samsung loook into this and fix it?
