Since the update, swiping down to expand a notification has been awful. The slightest touch and it tries to open the quick menu at the top.

Any idea if there's a fix.?

Yes if you what quick Pannal it's swipe from the right side of screen at the top of the screen. But if you want just the notfcations swipe down from the middle of the screen.

Yeah I get that. I'm saying if I swipe to expand a notification only, it now 9/10 will open the quick panel.

@Chris781: You may wish to try swiping from the top of the screen to the bottom, then again to enlarge the Quick Panel > Tap the pencil symbol in the top right > Quick settings instant access > Off.

Now, use a single finger to swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom to access the notification panel, then swipe down again to expand the Quick Panel. Alternatively, swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom using 2 fingers to automatically expand the Quick Panel.

Chris, I think I'm having the same issue as you. Is it on the lock screen? When you swipe the first time, the full quick settings panel pulls down? No matter on the screen you swipe.  Then once you go back, you can swipe away notifications or unlock the phone. This happens to me about 60% of the time and only after the phone has been unused for at least a few minutes. I can't simply recreate the issue.

It's anywhere really. The swiping thing is shot to pieces.
Sensitivity gone out the window.

Used to be so easy to expand say a WhatsApp notification to read the message.
Now it's utter rubbish.
