Hi, and welcome to the UK community

As you know, your warranty (if any) doesn't cover you for accidental damage. Any repair will be at your own cost. Did you take out any insurance?

Is there a screen protector fitted? If so, then the scratches may only be limited to that. Remove it and check, then fit a new one if needed.
Alternatively, if you don't have a screen protector, then you could fit one in the hope it hides the scratches.

Any work carried out by Samsung would most likely incur a fee @Eliwilly ,so I would suggest to invest in a Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector to help hide the scratches.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I would avoid tempered glass or UV applied screen protectors as the glue can damage the oleophobic coating on the screen and also, if any of it leaks into the ports it can set solid and block speakers and other ports.

Plus, glass screen protectors can be difficult to remove. I'd highly recommend the official Samsung film protectors as they work very well and are easy to fit and replace, with no residue left behind.
