Email syncing.

Hi, 

my email on my S23 Ultra, has started to sync emails automatically, even though sync is set to manual. Never had the problem before and has always been set to manual! Any ideas? Thanks.

Sync option might of enabled itself unknowingly. Check it and toggle off if necessary. Do this for each account.

It is on, if I toggle off, I can't sync manually as it says it's off. Has worked for years but has now started syncing automatically!

Ahhh sorry. Misunderstood. You want to keep manual sync too.

Settings> apps. Scroll down to 'Email' and tap to open. Tap Storage. Tap clear cache and data.

Can you try uninstalling the app then reinstalling.

Will I have to add all my email addresses again, I have 6.

Yes. Have you checked all 6 to see if they are set to manual?
