Hi community I have few scratches on my s23 ultra. The scratches are not obvious however it's annoying and I want to upgrade my phone.
I'm wondering if is worth it to buy new screen or is there any other solution
Screen replacement cost 130 £ on amazon

Hi there 👋

Community rules says we do not recommend any DYI or encourage others to do so. So no do not do it yourself as you risking damaging your phone if you have no knowledge or if you do still its not advisable seek professional repair.

My personal advise. No it's not worth to change your screen with few scratches put screen protector on if it's annoying you. Or trade in your phone when upgrading it.

My personal preference is just to put a screen protector on it. Hides the scratches and protects the screen.
It's far cheaper than replacing the screen.
£130 seems quite cheap and it's probably not a genuine one.
You'd be risking it really and compromising the water resistance of the phone.

Hello @Eliwilly

Are you thinking the scratches would decrease the value of your phone when trading it in 🤔

If they are not really deep scratches then it most likely won't.

As @Glenntech has mentioned  👌  a good screen protector such as the Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector, or maybe a Spigen option would hide the scratches.

If your going for a replacement screen then definitely go with a Samsung Service Centre  / Samsung Experience Store so that the warranty and Ip rating is retained , the work is guaranteed,  and your getting an oem screen.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

As above , clean screen , then put on a screen protector , that should hide most light scratches anyway, most phones get light scratches over time, l buy & use a screen protector from day one.
