Does anyone know a work around on how to keep the screen illuminated during phone calls? My timeout is set to 10 mins but when on the phone on loud speaker it goes off after 30 seconds. Samsung phones have been like this for years but does anyone know a way to keep it on?

Not really d/l an app to "Keep Screen on" (with optional "Off" toggle)--No $$ involved.

As I mentioned I d/l Kinscreen (Google Play Store) & that works--this is the first time I ever experienced this with a Samsung Android--and I'll be DAMNED if I ever purchase ANOTHER Samsung Android--maybe Motorola--if not an android, then I'll check out I-Phones, but SAMSUNG can KISS MY ASS!

As was explained to me further down this thread--" "Keep screen on while viewing" & " Smart Stay" features are NOT "available" in A14 "Budget Phones"--which I evidently own (despite a $169 price)!

The flagship line, Galaxy S series cost between $800-$1,660. Pretty wild considering they push you to upgrade every year. For that cost I'd like to use the same phone for 5 years.

This issue has been a bother for me for years, and I can't count how many times I've googled for answers on how to make the screen stay on during speaker calls. Super frustrating that such a simple feature would be missing from the stock app.

So, keeping my screen on while on the phone permanently drains the battery. This either means as humans we are screwed, or that you have no idea what you are speaking upon.
