Newer users have had swap to Google messages popups for the past year. Around a month ago every user got a popup saying to swap, people came here and complained and tried to petition to keep it. Now it seems they're finally removing it from devices. So it's only really sudden if you've actively been ignoring the swap messages. Has been very interesting watching it all go down the past few weeks. Guessing you're one of the lucky few to have it removed first
