Samsung Galaxy S23 issues

Like I've stated above, I have a Galaxy S23. I've had it since November but recently it has simply not been working. The problems I've been facing:

1. struggles with receiving/making phone calls. I barely receive any phone calls, nor do any voicemails come through.

2. struggles to receive/send text messages. I can take up to 24 hours before I receive a text or a text I sent is received. Sometimes they are simply never received on either end.

3. touch screen doesn't respond. This is a frequent occurrence.

4. doesn't always load web pages

5. Slow charging. I've recently bought a new charger, as I thought maybe mine was outdated but it did not correct the issues.

All 4 of these issues happen both when connected to Wi-Fi and/or cell service.

I do want to note that a few months ago I did have the SIM card replaced but I don't remember if these issues started immediately after or if there was any time between the start of the issues and the replacement of the SIM card.

I have spent several hours looking at various resources but nothing really adds up to what I've been experiencing. I did read there were some issues with 6.1 but they also didn't seem to align with most of the issues I have.

Could it possibly be the new SIM card? 6.1? Maybe a refresh or hard reset my do the trick?

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK Community Forum

Sorry to hear you're having issues.

Points 1,2 and 4. Other users have suggested turning the device off, moving the SIM from tray 1 to tray 2 and restarting. Then reversing the process your SIM is back in Tray 1.

Point 3 I've seen other posts about so please do a search on this one.

Point 5, are you using genuine Samsung charger and genuine Samsung cable? Some non genuine cables charge slowly.

Finally, have you performed a Wipe Partition Cache on your device at all? If not, we recommend doing this every so often I do it every 3 months it so.

Please let us know how you get on.
