Samsung browser

I kept having this problem where when I opened the browser it would check for updates this never occurred before. I just wanted to know if this is normal?

Each time I open it, it will check for updates.

I have a s23 and want to know has anyone else had this problem.

Never known Samsung browser to check for updates on opening.

After I installed the latest update everytime I would open the browser for a second or 2 it would be checking for updates, this problem has never occurred before and ive has this phone for nearly a year

Strange. I'd uninstall the app and reinstall from the Galaxy Store

@amxxat: It is normal for the Samsung Internet app to flag any available updates for the app itself, however I am not familiar with the app triggering general update checks. Are you connecting to Wi-Fi shortly before accessing the Samsung Internet app? If so, you may wish to head to Settings > Software update, and toggle off 'Auto download over Wi-Fi' to see if this helps.
