S23 battery drain following One UI 7 update

Battery seems to going quite fast on this new update compared to oui6 any solutions I dont..want to do a factory reset and lose everything

Same issue as of march2nd. Nothing new. I optimise twice weekly at 3am as I've always. Done. I haven't downloaded anything new or changed they way I use etc like brightness and so on and draining like mad.i went out with my wife last week she has got the s24+ we left the house with 100% her phone was connected to the car for android auto using music and sat nav for the 1hr50min drive then taking over 100 photo's. Texts and a few videos and calls. I took 20 photo's and sent 3 texts. We left the house at 9am and my phone died at 520. Wife's phone still had 75% and done all that we left at 730 again connected to car for thr journey home and when we got home she still had 38%. This 23uktra has been the worse samsung I've had and I've had one since the s2 and upgraded every 2 years. Seems funny that so many reporting even tho they now offer 4 to 7 years worth of upgrades but battery only lasting 2And on top of that previously reported pain coming of the glass, no scratches, never been dropped always I'm a case and screen protector. I'm heavily invested in the samsung ecosystem otherwise I would have tried another brand in all honesty. I hope it is just a bug and a update come out to rectify. I've ran diagnostics and saying all is fine but definitely not.

I've had the same with the latest update (last week?) - battery getting hot, running out etc. Hadn't made any changes to the battery settings for anything, but the Samsung update knocked it out of kilter again!

Have updated to One UI 7 today and my battery usage seems to have increased a lot. This is on my S23 Ultra. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes battery drain is a huge problem, I ran the beta version and was assured the full release would not be affected. Sadly it is. I'm loosing about 5-6 hours of battery a day with no chance in usage.

Yes, the update is garbage as I sit here teathered to my charging cable. I'm beyond disappointed we can't downgrade. My fix is probably an apple.

Since updating in the last few days I have noticed a considerable drop in battery life I used to charge once a day now finding I need to charge twice

This question has come up a lot over the last couple of weeks, did you search your question before posting it?

After update to One UI7 it will take several battery charging cycles for your device to learn your usage again.

Give it up to 2 weeks and if no better after 2 weeks, post again

Received my One UI 7 update this week. Power consumption HIGH, battery life LOW. It's *****.

Switching back to 6.1

My s22 128gbs is exactly the same, poor battery after one ui 7 update, I'll give it a week or so an see if it gets any better
