I have massive problems with the battery since the february 2025 update!
It shows in accu battery and the battery is empty so fast, that I have to charge at least 2 times a day with no new apps or usage behaviour.
On 24.02.2025 battery health was on 95%. After the update immediatly lost 10% of capacity with the restart and it shows now only 80% capacity left in accu battery.

I had two calls with Samsung support about the issue. First of all the information given was that with every update users report issues with the battery. My opinion on this is that this is true, the question is to which extend is it really evident and how many people report that issue.
Therefore, please report the problem via Samsungs member app so that they know that more people run into this issue.
Support from Samsung was given in the way that I was told to use the phone in offline mode and with WiFi/Wlan-Calling to save battery as the signal in my flat/apartment is very bad (info: but it hasn't changed since the update) and that I should not use "Maximum" battery saving with only max. 80% charge instead use "Adaptive" with max. 100% charge.
A huge factory on battery drain can/could be the network you are in with your SIM cards.
Charging to 100%, being in "Offline" mode with WiFi/WLAN calling brought me to better battery life!
BUT the thing is that all of this was not necessary before the update! The mentioned changes in how I use my phone are partly inconvenient and additionally I don't trust the "Adaptive" modus with 100% charging to be as battery pleasing as the "Maximum" modus with max. 80%.
According to the support and the measuring tools my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra should have full battery capacity with 5000mAh and only a battery cycle count of 488 after a bit more than 2 years.
The support admitted at least that the prediction for how long a full charge will last, which was a bit more than one 1 day, was way to little and not explainable.
What I have recognized with the 100% full charge was that after I unplugged the charging cable that I lost 3% down to 97% in a few minutes. Plugged the cable back in again to charge to 100% and waited for bit more - unplugged and got 100% for quite some longer time.
Projection at 91% charge for how long a charge lasts was now at 3d 19h!!!!

Conclusion
Realistically I was able before February 2025 update to have a full day from 4 pm to 4pm with a charge from 80% down to 15% with a screen on time around 4,5 hours.

I really hope that this buggy battery behavior is not on purpose from Google or Samsung. I bought the device with the plan to use it as long there are updates for it (5 years). It is not even at half of it its official support lifetime and shows degradation. My hope is that the next update brings a fix for it but I am really skeptical as there seems to be no acknowledging to that there is an issue at all. If they would at least admit it and work on a fix I would be way more confident for a fix.
Additionally according to Samsung support it could already be that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra may become OneUI 7 Update already in March 2025.
