Hi Lovely People.

So the First impressions and a few reviews have been trickling in and here are my thoughts.

The S23 ultra is a serious buy for both photography and videogrpahy enthusiasts.

1. Improved tracking autofocus
2. Improved Pro modes
3. Built in Expert Raw
4. locking in your settings
5. Easy transfers of photos and videos to your samsung laptop with quick share.
And much more.
6. Video Stability etc
The Pro modes in both photo and video are overhauled immensely and not to mention Expert Raw goodness like Astrophotography and stuff.

Samsung weren't Joking and no wonder they teamed up with film makers to showcase the S23 ultra.
There's lots to dig in the Settings.

I'm loving where samsung is going with their phones.

I hope they continue improving the software along with the hardware for the future.

Hi. I don't have the phone.
As mentioned in my post it's what I have seen on online reviews and samples.
I have been more interested in the newer settings that are available for both pro mode and Expert Raw.
I currently have the S21 Ultra and know samsung hardware is more then capable. They just had to catch up with the software side.
So with the S23 series that's what they have done.
Lots of YouTube videos out there.

A note about the Expert Raw. Whilst it's true it is accessible through the main camera app, it is still a separate app and you need to download it first time to use it. Access to it through the main camera app is convenient, however you cannot just add it to the mode bar like normal photo and video modes etc.

The new 200 megapixel lense isn't great in room light. Blurry photos seem the norm compared to the S22 Ultra. 😞

I believe the shutter lag is still there. They need to fix it.

Also why would you need 200mp in a room for ?

I would presume one would use it for landscapes and outdoor group photos and stuff like that.

Correct. And that's the reason I feel it will trickle down to the other S series phones.
How many people will really use it is another question.
More for Pros then ordinary people who prefer point and shoot.

The leap in detail captured between the two lenses is quite stark so with my S22 Ultra, I used the 108 megapixel one, most of the time.
