S23 Ultra Front Facing Camera Blurry on WhatsApp calls, but fine for others

S23 Ultra Front Facing Camera Blurry on WhatsApp calls, but fine for anything else. Like if I go to take a photo or video in WhatsApp its not Blurry front or back. Then when I answer a video chat it's Blurry on the front facing and not the back. Strange, has anyone else had this issue?

Yeah its an issue with the S23 model then, not sure snd nobody has addressed it

Same! Upgraded to S23 Plus from S20 FE, which had a much, much better front camera. Total disappointment

have samsung acknowledged the issue? Are they planning to have it fixed? I have not heard anything. At this point I am on the verge of returning this phone

I am facing the same issue on my S23 Ultra for WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Google Meet. 

Looks like there is no solution?

I just upgraded from my old faithful S10 to a S23 ultra (huge mistake I'm thinking!) I'm getting asked in every video call, Facebook messenger or WhatsApp, what's wrong with your camera, it's all blurry, sick fed up after spending nearly £1200 on this phone! The actual video & photo quality on the front facing camera is shocking too especially in low light.... I take it no fix yet?

Hmmmm mine has seemed to gotten a lot better and to be honest I don't even notice it now if it does. Maybe the odd occasion of very low light

I have the S23 and regardless of light, the front facing camera automatically blurs the background in WhatsApp with in app photos and video calls. It didn't used to, it's since I updated the software earlier in the year. I think it s a Samsung software issue rather than WhatsApp, but it is really frustrating considering the spec and cost of the phone! Hope they sort it out, or at least advise of when they might fix the issue.

Hey, not too sure what the issue was. I ended up raging to the S24 Ultra and it doesn't do it anymore. I just remember it driving me mad when people were asking why it was blurry
