@hashi Are you receiving the same 'Camera failed' error? Have you tried clearing the cache and data of the Camera app by heading to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage > Clear cache/data?
I also recommend trying all the other great steps that have been provided in this thread. Please also complete a hardware test by heading to the Support section of the Members app > Phone diagnostics > Camera. What are the results?

I'm also experiencing this after the latest update. Weirdly, the portrait camera works fine when video chatting in other apps, like Discord, but the camera app gives the "camera failed" error and nothing seemed to fix it, and it also didn't work in Safe Mode.
Clearing the cache and data didn't fix it either.

The app has nothing for repairing the camera.

All it will do is test your camera and then say it needs actions. But will not show or tell you what needs to be done to fix the camera.

@JAltamirano: If you have run the Camera diagnostics in the Members app, and it said 'Action required' in the summary, then I recommend arranging for your S23 to be inspected by one of our authorised engineers. Simply head to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Contact us, and reach out via your preferred contact method, and an advisor will be able to make the necessary arrangements for you.
Alternatively, head to the Samsung Members app > Support > Repair service > Request service, and follow the on-screen prompts.

hi.
I'm having the same issues.
Did you sort this out, if so how?

Legit had this problem. You need to go to your phone settings and look into the apps. Look at what apps have access to the camera and turn off access to what fits your needs. Give this a shot. It worked for me, maybe it can work for you.
