Recently (last couple of days) my phone hasn't displayed incoming calls. Working from home today Alexa announces that a call is incoming, but nothing appears on screen for me to answer it.

It seems to be intermittent and a restart of the phone appears to fix it temporarily. But it keeps recurring.

I'm on One UI version 6.1 and Android version 14. I updated to the latest software update earlier this month.

Hi, and welcome to the UK community

Are call notifications toggled on? Ensure main notifications setting is toggled on too1723560407303_1723560407296_0.jpg1723560513051_1723560513045_0.jpg

I checked all my settings. It's intermittent and a restart temporarily fixes it and calls display as normal. Then I'll hear Alexa saying someone is phoning but the phone doesn't display

Could be a problem with Alexa. Try reinstalling the app. Consider reaching out to the app developers too.

Also, try a hard reset

With the device powered up, Hold the Volume down button and Power button simultaneously for 10 seconds. The screen will go off. Continue to hold buttons until the device vibrates and the Samsung logo appears. Release buttons. Device will reboot. Once done, please check if the issue is resolved.

Thanks. I don't think it's a problem withAlexa (and it'd the Alexa device that alerts not the app) as its operating correctly by alerting to a phone call. People phoning just hear a ringing then it goes to voicemail. It's not set to divert calls to voicemail automatically.

Sorry, do you mean calls initiated via your Alexa device ( dot etc) and not normal calls directly to the phone? Just tested a call via my own Echo dot, and I get the voice alert on my Echo Dot and also a notification on my Samsung device.

Try rebooting your Alexa device. Ensure your Alexa device is connected and selected as shown in screenshot 1723562119864_1723562119859_0.jpg

Sorryvi didn't explain it fully. My alexa is set up to alert when I have an incoming call on my mobile. So it alerts that a call is incoming, but the phone doesn't display the call. Hence I can't answer it, and the person phoning either hangs up or leaves a voicemail.

Then, I'd look towards the notification settings for the phone app that you're using. Select the phone app from Settings>Apps. Tap Notifications and check each setting is enabled as appropriate. Don't forget to check its notification categories too.
